CMDSS Teams Up with Jackson MILB Baseball Team for Night of Fun
The Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society teamed up with the Jackson-based MILB team, The Mississippi Braves, on July 21st for an Awareness night. Everyone had a great evening at the game. The kids were able to participate in the “Field of Dreams” – a special portion of the night where they accompany the players onto the field for introductions and stay until the conclusion of the national anthem.
Down Syndrome Awareness Night included a silent auction and a Plinko game that benefited CMDSS, and the night was capped off with fireworks. Many thanks to the Braves for their hospitality and support!
