Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2024 with CMDSS!
We want YOUR school to participate in World Down Syndrome Day 2023! This year we will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day in schools across the state on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
World Down Syndrome Day Classroom Kits are free kits for educators that teach PreK-5th grade with a student with Down syndrome in their classroom or school to help them celebrate and raise awareness about Down syndrome. Each kit includes an age-appropriate book to keep permanently in your classroom, a teacher guide of grade-specific activities and lessons, and stickers for the students.
There are 200 2024 Kits available on a first come, first served basis. The kits will be delivered to your school by Friday, March 8. For more information on these kits, please email info@cmdss.org.
Help us continue the tradition of “Rocking Your Socks” for WDSD. Contact your school/work administration and ask them to distribute our World Down Syndrome Day Flyer encouraging students, teachers and staff to wear their mismatched socks to school on March 21 to celebrate everyone’s differences.
Take a picture of your crazy socks on 3.21 and tag us on social media #CMDSSWDSD2024
